what I want to know is, what does it do/what's it for?

It moves text around, allows you to make it appear how you want, such as, move in from the left, right, down, up, ect. You can move entire titles around the screen, and even move objects. It is also used for other things, such as ramped slow mo's and shine. It's very important.
