Hey there!
Im new at skating, and i need to get a new board, but i dont even kno where to start. I basically need a good starting board, i think the one i have now is the wrong size, it feels to thick, and its a piece of crap.

This is what i would like:
a lightweight, but not breakable deck
blank or design (something maybe not too boyish)
good for riding and doing ollies
normal baord...no long boards

What i need to kno:
Brands
Size/thickness
any other info u think i should kno
your favorites (opt.)

Thanks a bunch! :smile1:

Just buy a blank from any shop, they're cheap and dependable, and usually have pretty good shape. And if you dont like it being blank, then buy some stickers or something and slap em on it.

for griptape u might want to go with mob or black magic, and i like ricta wheels, also independant trucks r awesome to the max.......so yeah the deck depends on what ur going to be doing i haven't really tried that may decks though so i wouldn't know

umm you cant really get decks at different thicknesses but id get a zero or baker deck, with spitfire or ricta wheels, mob grip, grindking or tensor trucks, and bones swiss bearings

All decks are more or less the same weight, no matter the trucks.

I wouldn't get shorty's. They tend to be heavy. I don't know why. And don't get those element 9 ply decks.
