i got my grubby mits on GTA3 about 3 months ago, and am now 60% through it, i've done all the missions, its just all the gay little things i havn't done yet.

what do yee think of the GTA series, who's looking foward to the new one?

persionally i'm not expecting it to be great...

i want to get my hands on GTA: VC and GTA: SA though!

yeah, they're always good. liberty city stories is gonna be cool because it's for psp and i'll be able to play it on the bus. =P

Skip VC and get SA. It's a lot better in my opinion and I've played both, VC was all over the place to me. First you get ambushed in a drug deal and then you run a club? That's being very vague so don't complain about spoilers. SA is a strech from what Rockstar was doing, going from the mafia to local gangs and I think it was a really good decision. The characters are much better in SA and there are many more things to do (whether you like it or not.) I couldn't care less about the new GTA because it's with the mob again and it's on PSP. Plus using such a retarded character as Tony was a mistake to me. He comes of as being such a dick in GTA3. Plus they shouldn't have reused Liberty City, like maybe 10 years before GTA3 so it's in a new place, to make things interesting.

60% of my fondness on gta series is the story. gta3 100% vc 100% sa 70%

Naw, I never really got into GTA3... I'm actually surprised you're just now getting to it. Personally, I didn't much care for 3, and spent the least time with it. Not that it sucked, I just didn't like it too much, not my type or whatever.

Liberty City was good, but it had many a flaw or two. Sometimes it just got repetitive, and the city was entirely too small for me... But this is my opinion after SA.

San Andreas is the game. It's huge, with stats and all that shit. I can assure you that to drive in any average car around the whole outside of the city would take you a good 20-30 minutes tops, and that's if you didn't lose a car. It's huge. Better missions, storyline, and the first GTA game where you actually feel some sort of connection with the main character, most likely because he's the first who isn't pretty much a complete heartless mute.

SA is the game you really want, but for the sake of order, story, and appreciation of the series, I'd go GTA3, LC, then SA.

haha, yea i know, people were playing the origional gta's more than 6 years ago, and then they all got GTA3, and i both didn't have the money, and my mum thought it was too voilent etc... and frankly, i wasn't that fussed!

but then my friend Pete lost somebody's copy of Metallica's Ride The Lightening, and he knew i had it, and so traded me GTA3 for it... purely because it isn't actually his game and he'd got bored of it /:-S

i'm still only on 69% completion as well!

i just need to do all the gay little things like unique jumps etc, i'm also trying to pass level 12 paramedic as well, i got to level 8 last night, but then i was txting as the same time and flipped it =P

So you've played the original GTA's? GTA1, 2, and London?

LOL, those top down classics take me back a looong while. I still remember getting pumped for London, and being disappointed beyond all belief. GTA2 is good as hell though!

thats just the thing, i never thought the top down ones looked very good, so i never got them.

plus i never owned a PSX because they're shit, and only got a pc that could handle stuff like that around 7 years ago...

ok, serious question... is it possible to get an ambulance repaired anywhere while on a paramedic mission?

I think you can, but you need to have the time and a close enough pay & spray.

You need to look at the area of the hospital before you do the paramedic mission. If it's easy streets, relatively little traffic, and near a pay & spray, that's a good area.

Your best advice for paramedic missions is to just drive with caution and slow down if you need to.

i've always got enough time, and i can get up to level 8 paramedic missions... its just when i did that i started txting my girlfriend and flipped it =U you can't use pay and spray... i'm always fine, unless i have to drive through fort staunton, its bullets that do me the most damage!

even though i've only got 70% completion on GTA3, i am now in the process of downloading vice city.

i've got 11 hidden packages to find, a load of ramages to do, and 3 toy missions to do on GTA3 still.

I still think GTA 3 was the best. I still stand by that even after beating all the new GTAs at least twice.
