This is the answer i found

"If you look closely, you'll see that only the pupil is black and the iris is brown. Most animals have dark eyes because blue, green, and yellow colored eyes often go with along with genes that cause a diluted color or a merle patterned color. Red eyes go with albinism. In nature, under most circumstances, those colors are a disadvantage to an animal. Predators that are light colored stand out so they can't get as close to prey. Light-colored prey animals are more visible to predators. Animals that are colored other than what blends in in their particular environment tend not to survive as long or get as many chances to reproduce. Over time, that has resulted in mostly brown-eyed animals. Animals that live in snowy areas do often have lighter colors, and sometimes blue eyes show up in those species.

In domesticated animals, we see to it that the animals survive and select for the colors we want. So, we have white rabbits with either red or blue eyes, dogs with blue or gold eyes, cats with gold, blue and green eyes, and horses with blue eyes. But, in dogs most people prefer brown eyes, so that is what we have selected for."
