"For the new album, the band are moving away from the dark, introspective material of the past."

so its gonna be a bit different from their other stuff, but i still think it will be great. there is a link to one of their songs on it, its not too good but still awesome. the album comes out july 26.

and i spelled industry wrong

Jeff's voice got so much more mature haha, that shocked me.

But yeah I kind of liked the dark introspective stuff...

i think these new songs are gonna be optimistic, but still acknowledging when things are shitty. which is fine by me, it might even be better than his old pessimistic lyrics

and yeah i noticed the voice change too haha kind of weird

The few songs they've released off the album thus far are just phenomenal. I'm beyond excited for it. BTMI's undoubtedly my favorite band. (Or collective, if ya wanna be technical.)

And skateEmerica, if you haven't seen them before you're in for a treat. I've seen them four times now and each time they put on such a damn good show. Make sure to take an extra shirt to get it spray-painted. :-D

I saw them once before with the fad. I don't know if you know who the fad is, but that was the best show i've ever been to.

I've only heard a little bit of The Fad, but I like what I've heard.

There's these two:
YouTube - ‪Bomb The Music Industry! - Hurricane Waves - 2011‬‏ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngHgu1tNvwY)

YouTube - ‪Bomb The Music Industry! - Can't Complain - 2011‬‏ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raur5FCblqE&feature=related)

And I dunno if this is gonna be on the album, but this was on the same EP as Everybody That You Love:

YouTube - ‪BTMI - Matchless, Considerable Weirdness, The B48 Home‬‏ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bzl8FTIrejc&feature=related)

Just finished it.

Besides the tracks I have already heard, (Vocal/ETYL/Complain/Saver/Hurrican) I think Everybody That Loves You is my favorite song on this. But I need to listen to it a lot to really absorb, so that's just a quick listen.

gonna DL in a second...BTMI is one of those bands where you'll beat the hell out of 99% of the songs, quit listening for a month, and then re-fall in love with them.

i'm just assuming that quoteunquote linked to it, but it wasn't released under them because it's not free. rather, why isn't it free?
