1.My own band, that me and my buddy started, who has the stuff for a band, problem is that we cant find a drummer....we need help....

2.Join my friends band,which is kinda like slipknot,like 9 ppl.....idk...what should i do?

How could i find a drummer around my area?
and at first we are doing covers like offspring, nirvana, disturbed, and some other stuff

Post ads in papers and post flyers on poles, get to know alot of bands in the area and get yourself well known with music shops and bands and they'll help you out. Alot of bands(if they are cool) well share members with you. The drummer in my band has 2 of them already.

ok look online for classified ads for your area. yahoo or google it and a few sites should show up. then try your local music venues website. they should have a mssgeboard for all kinds of stuff including that. and of course you can always ask around for a drummer, as drummers usally arent hard to find. hope that helped

Drummers are easy to find. I could pull someone, anyone, into a room and teach them how to play decently probably in a couple of hours. So if you know how to play, and someone wants to join, you can teach them. Or at least teach yourself first.

Yea, some people are pussies and won't step up. Maybe an added recommendation then, give them a heads up on how long and how often you're going to be practicing.

every ones diss's drummers. they are good and hard to find a decent one. just hang around your music room (if your still in school) and get to know some people, your bound to find a drummer there. we found our singer there.

you are really dumb for saying that. sure in a couple of hours you could teach them a couple of easy beats and one or two fills but drumming takes months and years to become really good at. a good drummer is hard to find as it takes more hard work than you think
