my taste in music keeps throwing itself all over, and lately it's been drifting over to punk, which i really know nothing about. ska punk stuff like choking victim and op ivy have me liking the punk part of things.
i like stuff loud, fast, and over in less than two minutes (like sex). production quality isn't a big concern to me, or most punk bands it seems, but i like to have a general idea of what the lyrics are. i think i'm leaning more towards hardcore punk stuff, but maybe i'll like other stuff.

so far i've gotten group sex by circle jerks, damaged by black flag, and bad brain's self titled album. i dig them.

oh and for the past few months i've really been liking abe froman's self titled album which is like fast pop punk with a girl singer.

so yeah, recommend some stuff. not the ramones.

Heartbreakers

Stiff little Fingers

the last three punk bands I listened to today

Minor threat is pretty good. I made a thread a while ago, and still haven't listened to all these bands yet, but from what I can tell these should be pretty good:

The descendants- Milo Goes To College
Minor Threat- just get their complete discography, it's one EP and one album.
Anti-Flag- Die For The Government
Agent Orange- Living In Darkness
Dead Kennedys- Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables
The Adolescents- Adolescents

Uhhh, if you like Choking Victim you'll probably like Leftover Crack.

Punkatoo

NOFX- Punk In Drublic/Wolves in Wolve's Clothing
Voodoo Glow Skulls- Who is "This Is"?
The Suicide Machines- A Match and Some Gasoline
Common Enemy- Build Ramps, Not Bombs!
Guttermouth- Musical Monkey (Listen to Lipstick, great song imo)

The first three are all skacore, which is punk with ska influence. Common Enemy is straight-up hardcore skate punk. Guttermouth is like punk for rednecks.

Punk.

I'd check out all of NOFX's shit if you actually like them.

for hardcore, check out:

Agnostic Front (good quality, too. so it'll probably be easier to listen to)
Exploited
MDC
Wrecking Crew
7 Seconds
S.O.A.
SSD
etc

other random punk:

Gang Green
Fugazi
Teenage Bottlerocket
Gorilla Biscuits
Screeching Weasel (<333)
Common Rider
Cock Sparrer
Lagwagon

aaaaaaaaaaand I'm too lazy to post anymore

The Nation Of Ulysses- never really listened to them
Husker Du- hardcore
Motorhead- like metalish
DRI- thrash
JFA- surf/skate punk (really fuckin good stuff, beach blanket bongout all day!)

Alright, I wasn't actually gonna post anything, but here's a massive download list:

.Nema- Bring Our Curses Home
Powerviolent Metalcore. Shit rules.

http://www.mediafire.com/?nymlrj2l0zm

7 Seconds- Skins, Brains and Guts
Not many people seem to like this band. They're dumb. This album rules.

http://besthardcorebands.blogspot.com/2008/01/7-seconds-skin-brains-and-guts.html

7 Seconds- The Crew
This one too.

http://besthardcorebands.blogspot.com/2008/01/7-seconds-crew.html

A//Political - Discography
http://seeeingred.blogspot.com/2008/06/apolitical-unofficial-discography.html

Adolescents- ST
If you don't already have this, you should be fired from punk.

http://rmmthealbumproject.blogspot.com/2010/01/adolescents-self-titled.html

After the Bombs - Spoils of War
Swell metalpunk from Montreal. Effigy worship.

http://crustcracker.blogspot.com/2007/11/after-bombs-spolis-of-warep.html

Aghast- Defomities
Crucial crasher crust.

http://no--security.blogspot.com/2009/01/aghast-deformities-lp-2007.html

Aghast- 9 Track Demo
Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!

http://madblastsofchaos.blogspot.com/2007/06/aghast-9-track-demo-cd-r-2003.html

Agorophobic Nosebleed- Altered States of America
99 songs, 20 minutes. Grindcore. Actually a good album too.

http://canalla-metal.blogspot.com/2008/10/agoraphobic-nosebleed-altered-states-of.html

Agorophobic Nosebleed- Agoropocalypse
Now they sound like a Powerviolence band. Rull good.

http://lucidmedia.blogspot.com/2009/04/agoraphobic-nosebleed-agorapocalypse.html

Amebix- No Sanctuary
The first full length by the first crust band. Very eerie sounding album. Not as metal as later output.

http://punknotprofit.blogspot.com/2008/09/amebix-no-sanctuary-spiderleg_21.html

Amebix- Arise!
Everyone's favorite Amebix album. Except me. I like No Sanctuary better. Less creepy, more metal.

http://punknotprofit.blogspot.com/2007/07/amebix-arise.html

Antisect- In Darkness There is No Choice
The other first crust band. Thrashy political punk.

http://rockin-noiz.blogspot.com/2008/03/antisect-in-darkness-there-is-no-choice.html

Apocalypse- Coldbringer (discography)
Awesome early US stenchcore.

http://eminentscum.blogspot.com/2009/06/apocalypse-discography.html

Appalachian Terror Unit- Armageddon Won't be Brought By Gods, But Men Who Think They Are
Straight forward political crust. Best album name ever. Sounds like Nausea

http://crustcracker.blogspot.com/2007/11/appalachian-terror-unit-armageddonep.html

Axegrinder- Rise of the Serpent Men
Amazing early UK stenchcore release.

http://truepunkmetal.blogspot.com/2007/04/axegrinder-rise-of-serpent-1988.html

Bad Brains- Self Titled
I shouldn't even have to post this.

http://gudanghc.blogspot.com/2009/01/bad-brains-self-titled.html

Black Flag- First 4 Years
Everyone should already have this. Ron Reyes was their best vocalist. I will castrate all opposition with pruning shears.

http://nogoodcause.blogspot.com/2008/12/black-flag-first-four-years-1983.html

Carcinogen- Kure (demo)
Pre-Dystopia grindcore. So fucking heavy. Sounds amazing.

http://mindgrinder-wmuc.blogspot.com/2009/09/carcinogen-kure-demo.html

Career Suicide- Attempted Suicide
Very popular 80s worship band.

http://parasitelandx.blogspot.com/2008/10/career-suicide-attempted-suicide.html

Charles Bronson- Disgocrappy
Spastic fastcore. Not powerviolence. Seems to have a shitty fanbase, but they're alright.

http://seeeingred.blogspot.com/2008/03/charles-bronson-discocrappy-re-uploaded.html

Code 13- Discography
Grind/crustcore that later becomes more thrashy. Pretty darn good.

http://shittypunkblog.blogspot.com/2008/08/code13-discography-1994-2000.html

Conflict- Increase the Pressure
Streetpunky anarcho punk. Some songs rule. Some don't.

http://ya-cant-go-home.blogspot.com/2008/03/conflict-increase-pressure-1984.html

Conflict- The Ungovernable Force
A kind of weird, epic sounding album that still retains their original sound.

http://ya-cant-go-home.blogspot.com/2008/10/conflict-ungovernable-force-1986.html

More on the way.

Confuse- Discography
The founders of Kyushu Noisecore. Even within the genre they created they were way ahead of their time. This is earsplitting racket and you may hate it. Your loss.

http://ya-cant-go-home.blogspot.com/2009/10/confuse-discography-1995.html

Contagium- ST
Local band featuring friends of mine. They also just happen to fucking awesome, this is seriously some of the best stenchcore to be released in quite a while. They have a full length coming out pretty soon as well. It rules.

http://crustcracker.blogspot.com/2009/07/contagium-st-ep.html

Counterblast- Prospects
Swedish sludge-crust with weird spacey parts.

http://7inchcrust.blogspot.com/2007/05/counterblast-prospects-7.html

Crass- Feeding of the 5000
Whether you like them or not. If it weren't for Crass, punk would suck. I think they're also quite good.

http://gabesuk82.blogspot.com/2009/04/crass-feeding-of-5000-lp.html

Crass- Stations of the Crass
Basically a more fleshed-out version of the second album. Which isn't a bad thing.

http://rapidshare.com/files/196542083/Crass-Stations_of_the_Crass.rar

Crass- Penis Envy
This is where it gets weird. Only female vocals, very strange sounding songs. The first 5 songs are amazing, it loses momentum afterwards.

http://musictraveler.blogspot.com/2007/03/crass-penis-envy-1977-british-punk.html

Crass- Christ the Album
Combination of the sound on Penis Envy with their earlier work.

http://ferryconnor.blogspot.com/2008/10/crass-christ-album.html

Crass- Yes Sir, I Will
Their last album. All the instruments are improvised and the album is one long song spanning both sides of the album. I like it, but can see why others wouldn't.

http://fovoskaiparanoia.blogspot.com/2008/06/crass-yes-sir-i-will-1983.html

Crass- Best Before 84
A collection of 7"s and miscellanea. Some songs totally suck, but the good ones are crucial.

http://pankerijada.blogspot.com/2010/03/crass-best-before-1984.html

Crossed Out- Discography
One of the first and best powerviolence bands. Fast pissed off hardcore. Temper tantrum set to music.

http://seeeingred.blogspot.com/2007/10/crossed-out-discography.html

Crucifix- Dehumanization
A unique combination of D-Beat and 80s hardcore. Great band.

http://renrats-metal-bazaar.blogspot.com/2009/03/crucifix-dehumanization-12.html

Cut Fuck- demo
Creepy powerviolence.

http://seeeingred.blogspot.com/2010/01/cut-fuck-demo-1.html

Deep Wound- Discography
Earliest example of fast hardcore/powerviolence. Featuring some guy from Dinosaur Jr. for all you hipsters.

http://scosand.blogspot.com/2008/05/deep-wound-discography.html

Despise You- West Side Horizon
My favorite traditional powerviolence band. If you can find anything agrier sounding, I'd like to hear it. This shit is fast, heavy, raw, creative, negative and fucking pissed.

http://seeeingred.blogspot.com/2008/07/despise-you-westside-horizons.html

Deviated Instinct- Rock n Roll Conformity
Amazing early stench. These guys really bridged the gap between Amebix and what would become crust. Undeniably crucial. Good for death metal fans too.

http://hellcrust.blogspot.com/2008/08/deviated-instinct-rock-and-roll.html

Deviated Instinct- Guttural Breath
Even more metal and heavy than the last album. Even better for death metal fans.

http://vonfrost13.blogspot.com/2008/10/deviated-instinct-guttural-breath.html

Discharge- Why?
This band is the reason that there is good music. They were the first band to have an aggressive metallic sound. They are literally the founders of extreme metal/punk.

http://hangoverhard.blogspot.com/2008/04/discharge-why-bonus.html

Discharge- Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing
See above.

http://ya-cant-go-home.blogspot.com/2009/05/discharge-hear-nothing-see-nothing-say.html

Disclose- Raw Brutal Assault (Incomplete discography)
Raw noisy Discharge worship. They combined the Kyushu noize sound with pure D-Beat chaos. RIP Kawakami.

http://punknotprofit.blogspot.com/2007/07/disclose-raw-brutal-assault-vol-2.html

Disorder- Complete Disorder
This is the band Confuse wanted to sound like. Same thing, less distort. Invented raw punk.

http://strengththruunity.blogspot.com/2009/05/disorder-complete-disorder-ep.html

Disrupt- Unrest
Classic early 90s crustcore/grind.

http://vndrgrvnd.blogspot.com/2007/06/disrupt-unrest-1994-remaster.html

Dropdead- Discography
Blistering fast political hardcore. Dig it. At The Cost of An Animal is a great song.

http://toxicmolar.blogspot.com/2007/11/dropdead-discography.html

DS-13 - Killed by the Kids
Raw thrashy hardcore from Sweden.

http://troubleonyoursystem.blogspot.com/2009/08/ds-13-killed-by-kids-12.html

Duke Nukem Forever- demo
Raw powerviolent hardcore with kickass samples. I'm not usually into this kind of thing, but this shit rules.

http://www.mediafire.com/?mvn24nqilud

Dust Noise- Destroy Everything!
Raw noisy Confuse-style noisepunk. Can't stop noize!

http://killthepenis.blogspot.com/2009/05/dust-noise-destroy-everything-7.html

DYSTOPIA- Human= Garbage
Dystopia is god. They are the most dark, bleak and misanthropic band you will ever hear. They are also amazing, they play doom metal influenced crust. The vocals are in a very unique high-pitched shriek, but not in any traditional way, it sounds like the singer is having a total mental breakdown. Check out the lyrics too, your life will seem so much worse after hearing them. This album is incredible, anything past the first 5 tracks is from earlier splits and 7"s and they aren't as good however.

http://crustmas.blogspot.com/2007/03/dystopia-human-garbage.html

Dystopia- The Aftermath
My favorite Dystopia album. This album is a lot angrier and has a very eerie atmosphere to it. Population Birth Control is one of the best songs ever written.

http://mindgrinder-wmuc.blogspot.com/2008/08/dystopia-aftermath.html

Dystopia- ST
Released in 2008, over 10 years after their last album. I don't think this album is nearly as good as the other two, but it's still great and blows pretty much everything else out of the water.

http://lucidmedia.blogspot.com/2008/02/dystopia-dystopia-2008.html

Electro Hippies- Play Fast or Die
Early UK thrashy anarcho/protogrind. This band was way ahead of it's time. They play hardcore at an almost grindcore speed. This band rips.

http://rocknterror.blogspot.com/2008/12/electro-hippies-play-fast-or-die-1986.html

The Endless Blockade- Primitive
A modern powerviolence release, while less raw than most PV, it makes up for it by being blisteringly fast, heavy and somewhat technical. Sounds like Refused playing grindcore.

http://takethistorch.blogspot.com/2009/10/endless-blockade.html

Extinction of Mankind- Baptized in Shit
Early 90s UK crust. Thrashy crust with some wicked doomy parts. This album rips, the riffs are amazing and the bass plays some awesome leads at times, but you have to listen for them. The vocals could be better, but weh.

http://crustmas.blogspot.com/2007/03/extinction-of-mankind-baptised-in-shit.html

Extreme Noise Terror- A Holocaust in Your Head
Early grind/crustcore from the UK. Disrupt wanted to be this band.

http://seeeingred.blogspot.com/2007/12/extreme-noise-terror-holocaust-in-your.html

Fall of Efrafa- Discography
An amazing prog-crust/doom metal band. Long EPIC songs all relating to the band's interpretation of the book Watership Down. Sounds silly, but holy fuck is this band good.

http://www.fallofefrafa.com/music.html

Filth- Discography
Mid-tempo streetpunk/crust for the East Bay. These guys played with Green Day many a time back in the day, but this ain't no pop punk.

http://lucidmedia.blogspot.com/2008/03/filth-shit-split-1994.html

Final Bloodbath- Dead or Alive
Raw D-Beat from Japan. This band has some amazing D-Beat riffs and the vocals sound like they're coming through a megaphone. Crucial for fans of D-beat/Discore/Kaang.

http://crustpunkperu.blogspot.com/2008/01/final-bloodbath-dead-or-alive-ep.html

Final Conflict- Ashes to Ashes
If Crucifix had formed just a little later, they would have sounded like this. Fast and thrashy Discharge-influenced American hardcore.

http://friendlyradio.blogspot.com/2008/05/final-conflict-ashes-to-ashes.html

Framtid- Under the Ashes
Raw D-Beat from Japan. Heavy, blown-out, fast.

http://fightagainsttheplutocrats.blogspot.com/2007/06/framtid-under-ashes.html

GISM- DETESTation
I love this band. So do a lot of people. A lot of bootleggers too. Very early Japanese hardcore that pretty much established how hardcore would sound from that area. Raw Discharge (see a pattern here?) influenced hardcore. However their guitarist is a fucking beast, busting out sweet Iron Maiden-esque solos.

http://punknotprofit.blogspot.com/2008/05/gism-detestation.html

GISM- MAN (Military Affairs Neurotic)
Their second release, a lot more metal. I love this album. If the blazing opening lead on As Good As It Is doesn't make you an immediate fan, commit ritualistic suicide.

http://punknotprofit.blogspot.com/2007/03/gism-man-military-affairs-neurotic.html

GISM- SoniCRIME TheRAPy
GISM's final album. A blend between the metal and punk sounds from their previous albums.

http://www.mediafire.com/?tmj05j590jm

Gloom- Recommendation of Perdition
The first band to catch up to Confuse for raw noize output. These guys take the Kyushu noize sound to the next level. The guitar sounds like a vacuum cleaner and the music is pure chaos.

http://wherereligionends.blogspot.com/2009/04/album-gloom-recommendation-of-perdition.html

Gorilla Biscuits- Start Today
For the most part, I hate youthcrew. But this album is bomb.

http://thepriceofsilence.blogspot.com/2009/06/gorilla-biscuits-start-today.html

Gai- Extermination
Kyushu noize punk. Guitar sounds like a mosquito buzzing in your ear while the bass handles the actual riffs. Shit rules. Blood Spit Night is best listened to while very drunk.

http://madblastsofchaos.blogspot.com/2007/10/gai-extermination-ep-1984-bootleg.html

G-Anx Flashbacks
Combining raw proto-grind with odd spacey Pink Floyd-esque parts. Members went on to form Counterblast. This is basically counterblast but way faster.

http://enemy-of-the-music-business.blogspot.com/2008/11/g-anx-flashbacks.html

Germs- Discography
Very early LA hardcore. Why don't you already know about them?

http://punknotprofit.blogspot.com/2007/06/germs-mia-complete-anthology.html

Hellshock- Only the Dead Know the End of War
Awesome stenchy thrash from Portland. CRUST!

http://eatingchildrenforjesus.blogspot.com/2008/06/fuck-was-bout-sometime-i-wasnt.html

Infest- Slave
Considered the forefathers of poweviolence, though I wouldn't really call them PV. Moreso really really fast youthcrew influenced hardcore. Fucking awesome band. Fast.

http://truepunkmetal.blogspot.com/2007/12/infest-slave-lp-1988.html

Infest- No Man's Slave
Posthumous release, most people prefer Slave. I think this album is overall better but Slave has some better individual songs.

http://satanknowswhatyoudid.blogspot.com/2008/04/infest-no-mans-slave-12.html

Instinct of Survival- North of Nowhere, South of Somewhere
Released last year, this band knows how to play stenchcore right. Heavy and metallic but still simple and punk, this band is a throwback to the early UK crust bands like Deviated Instinct and Axegrinder. Also they yell "CRUST!" constantly throughout their songs.

http://troubleonyoursystem.blogspot.com/2009/05/instinct-of-survival-north-of-nowhere.html

JFA- Blatant Localism
Earliest and best skate punk. Health sucks!

http://punknotprofit.blogspot.com/2009/01/jfa-blatant-localism.html

Jerry's Kids- Is This My World?
I hate Boston hardcore. I don't count this as Boston hardcore, it's hardcore from Boston. Unlike every other band in the city, this band doesn't strike me as a bunch of tough assholes that would punch me in the face for not being straightedge. Straight up 80s hardcore done right.

http://bloodjunkies.blogspot.com/2008/03/jerrys-kids-is-this-my-life.html

Koro- 700 Club
Somewhat obscure thrashy 80s hardcore release. Blistering speed and tight as fuck.

http://icoulddietomorrow.blogspot.com/2009/06/koro-self-titled-7-aka-700-club-ep.html

Lachrymose- demo
Members of Dystopia, Skaven and Carcinogen. An amazing blending of Dystopia and Skaven. I love this album with all my heart because it's a combination of my two favorite crust bands. Incredibly dark sounding with some amazingly doomy melodic parts.

http://deadhost.blogspot.com/2008/06/lachrymose-demo.html

Lebenden Toten- Near Dark
Femal fronted crasher crust from Portland. This is the most distorted, ear splitting album I've ever heard. Also has a few sweet noisy early goth sounding songs. Great album, not for the faint of ear.

http://whiteyspunkemporium.blogspot.com/2009/05/lebenden-toten-near-dark.html

Leper- End Progress
Sweet blackened ska-crust. Sounds weird but it works. They have amazing music, but lyrically they can be overly preachy. Fairly well known as being overly PC. Whatever, they have great music.

http://r-a-b-m.blogspot.com/2010/01/leper-end-progress-2009.html

Magrudergrind- ST
Straight up powerviolent grindcore. This is probably my favorite album of last year. Crazy fast, amazing vocals, sweet breakdowns/sludge parts, chaotic as fuck and awesome samples.

http://seeeingred.blogspot.com/2009/06/magrudergrind-self-titled-2009.html

Man is the Bastard- DIYCD
2 VERY competent bassists, a jazz drummer and a guitarist who plays a homemade 10 string guitar through homemade amps. This band is weird as fuck, but they rule so very hard. INTO THE ARENA!

http://seeeingred.blogspot.com/2008/09/man-is-bastard-diycd.html

Man is the Bastard- Mancruel
The first songs on this are from their split with Capitalist Casualties. These are the best MITB songs out. Get into it. GIVE US GOURMET PEZ!

http://terminalnation.blogspot.com/2009/02/man-is-bastard-mancruel.html

Middle Class- Out of Vogue
The first hardcore release. This band was years ahead of it's time. When you listen to this, bear in mind that it came out in 1978.

http://ferryconnor.blogspot.com/2008/08/middle-class-out-of-vogue.html

Mind Eraser- Cave
Sounds like a modern Crossed Out. Heavy powerviolence.

http://terminalnation.blogspot.com/2009/01/mind-eraser-cave.html

Minor Threat- Discography
There's no reason not to already have this.

http://seeeingred.blogspot.com/2008/06/minor-threat-1989-complete-discography.html

Morne- demo
This band released an LP a little while ago that was kind of mediocre. This demo rules though! Dark atmospheric sludgy crust!

http://heavy-metal-machine.blogspot.com/2008/10/morne-demo-2008.html

Napalm Death- Scum
Considered to be the first grindcore album. It isn't. That being said, this album is fucking awesome. At least the first side. After You Suffer it gets a little weak with just mad blasts of noise, but the first half...BLAOW!

http://sataniknuklearwarstrike.blogspot.com/2008/08/napalm-death-scum-grindcore-1987.html

Napalm Death- From Enslavement to Obliteration
Sort of continues with the noisy blast of chaos thing from the second side of scum, but it's done way better on this.

http://wolveswarriors.blogspot.com/2008/08/napalm-death-from-enslavement-to.html

Napalm Death- Peel Sessions
Raw and heavy as fuck live BBC radio recordings.
http://truepunkmetal.blogspot.com/2009/10/napalm-death-peel-sessions-1989.html

Nausea- Punk Terrorist Anthology Vol 1
Nausea was an incredible crust band from the early 90s. Male and female vocalists and some incredible slow doomy parts. Some songs are kind of weak, but most of them are amazing. One of the best crust bands ever.

http://grave-new-world.blogspot.com/2008/09/nausea-punk-terrorist-anthology-vol-1.html

Neanderthal- Fighting Music
Part Infest, part Man is the Bastard. THIS is the first real powerviolence release with all the elements that would later be staples of the genre. Crazy fast parts, sudden tempo changes and crawling sludge parts.

http://icoulddietomorrow.blogspot.com/2008/07/neanderthal-fighting-music.html

No Comment- Downsided
Great fast early powerviolence. I can't stand anything else this band has done cause they usually sound like a bored Infest. But this 7" is crucial.

http://icoulddietomorrow.blogspot.com/2008/07/neanderthal-fighting-music.html

Order of the Vulture- Christ Killer
Great band from Portland. Blackened D-Beat. It totally works. This shit rips.

http://enemy-of-the-music-business.blogspot.com/2008/11/order-of-vulture-christ-killer.html

Outbreak- You Make Us Sick
Fast and incredibly hateful hardcore. Shitty fanbase, but what can you do. All their other material is complete crap.

http://www.mediafire.com/?m2mzty0ctg2

Pissed Happy Children- Pissed Playground
Eric Wood's band before Neanderthal/MITB. Weird 80s hardcore, you can definitely still tell it's an Eric Wood project.

http://kicktokill.blogspot.com/2008/07/pissed-happy-children-pissed-playground.html

Plutocracy- Dankstahz
WEST BAY COALITION! Gangstah grind. Really unique, really chaotic but tight as fuck. Best grind band hands down.

http://runninfromthetrash.blogspot.com/2008/04/plutocracy-dankstahz.html

Plutocracy/Discordance Axis split
The Pluto side is great. Would probably be the best release on their part if it wasn't so short. Discordance Axis is worshipped in tech-grind circles. They're alright.

http://troubleonyoursystem.blogspot.com/2009/04/discordance-axis-plutocracy-split-7.html

Plutocracy- Snipin' Pigz
Here's where it's at. This full length is the best Pluto has to offer. And it fucking rules. Get high as shit and give er a listen.

http://anarcho-peace.blogspot.com/2008/04/sniping-blogz.html

Punch-Punch
Raging female-fronted fastcore. This album will break your testicles into small pieces.

http://www.brownbrownblog.com/2009/05/punch-lp.html

Reagan Youth- Youth Anthems for the New Order
This band is awesome. You should have already listened to them. Do I have to do ALL the work?

http://shotgunsolutionpaytodie.blogspot.com/2010/04/reagan-youth-1984-youth-anthems-for-new.html

Regulations- St
Great mid-tempo early LA sounding hardcore. From Sweden. Catchy.

http://www.mediafire.com/?ljk3mzxgyh2

Rich Kids on LSD- It's A Beautiful Feeling
Awesome snotty sounding nardcore. Great 80s hardcore album.

http://www.filestube.com/27994c660aac807703e9/details.html

Rites of Spring- End on End
First emo band. Fuck off, they rule. A lot. At least their early stuff, this is a discography, past All There Is, it kind of sucks.

Rudimentary Peni- Cacaphony
VERY weird goth/anarcho punk/I don't even know what. A schizophrenic guy's tribute to the work of HP Lovecraft. It's even stranger than it sounds.

http://apndownload.blogspot.com/2008/02/y-ai-ngngah-yog-sothoth-hee-lgeb-f-ai.html

Shitlickers- St
Early Swedish D-beat. Wicked chaotic and fast. Most songs only have 2 lines repeated for lyrics and last about a minute or so. Great album.

http://killthepose.blogspot.com/2008/12/shitlickers.html

Siege- Drop Dead
Moreso than Deep Wound, this band was way ahead of it's time in terms of speed and aggression. Obvious influence on all powerviolence, fast hardcore and grind.

http://seedsofrevolution.blogspot.com/2007/02/siege-drop-dead.html

Skaven/Dystopia- Blessed Are the Worms, For They Shall Inherit This Barren Dirt!
I fucking love both of these bands so much. The Dystopia side is on the CD version of The Aftermath and it rips. The Skaven side is amazing. They play a strange combination crust, black metal, sludge and death metal. They had 2 bassist, one that played bass normally and one with a 5 string that exchanged leads with the guitar. They have some of the most doomy slow parts ever and the vocals sound fucking tortured. Download this now! Also, great album title.

http://pileshifter.blogspot.com/2010/02/skaven-dystopia-split-12.html

Skaven- St (Flowers of Flesh and Blood)
This 2 song 7" was Skaven's last release while active as a band. Both songs are 7 minute epics with long, melodic bass driven doomy parts that bookend each song. These parts were later re-used in the Lachrymose demo. These 2 songs are definitely the best Skaven material, mindblowing crust. Get into it.

http://7inchcrust.blogspot.com/2008/05/skaven-st-7.html

Skaven/Stormcrow split
Another 2 song 7". Skaven's side is an unreleased song from the same session as their previous 7". It's not quite as good as their other stuff but still better than pretty much anything by any other band. The Stormcrow side is pretty darn good as well. Still not up to the Enslaved in Darkness material, but great nonetheless.

http://crustmas.blogspot.com/2008/09/skavenstormcrow-split.html

Spazz- Almost Everything
I'm not a huge fan of Spazz. A lot of people are though. They play powerviolence and have some good parts, but for the most part I find them kind of generic.

http://seeeingred.blogspot.com/2009/05/my-entire-spazz-collection.html

Stagnation- St
Fast ripper stench! Sweet band that sings about kickass movies like Star Wars and Mad Max.

http://crustcracker.blogspot.com/2009/07/stagnation-st-ep.html

State Children- Bomb Shelter for Moneymaking
Kyushu noize assault. This is a great noise punk album. Raw and chaotic.

http://www.7inchpunk.com/?p=442

Stormcrow- Enslaved in Darkness
Sick deathstench from Oakland. This is there best release. They've done a buttload of splits with other great crust bands. They should be pretty easy to find if you're interested enough.

Void- Condensed Flesh
Manic 80s hardcore from DC. Very unique sounding. Sounds out of control and just totally crazy.

http://seeeingred.blogspot.com/2007/11/void-condensed-flesh.html

Void/The Faith split
The Faith are boring. This album is totally worth it for the Void side though. They take what they did with Condensed Flesh and run with it. This album is chaotic, spastic and manic but still very tight and very creative. Give it a listen if you like 80s hardcore or weird punk.

http://swimminginmyhead.blogspot.com/2006/12/faith-void-split.html

Warfear- Dead, Unburied, Forgotten
Fast protogrind crust from the UK. Featuring members of both Sore Throat and Doom.

http://punknotprofit.blogspot.com/2010/04/warfear-dead-unburied-forgotten.html

I think I'm done. If you're interested in any of these bands or want moar, pm me or post or something. I also can probably obtain a few of these on vinyl or tape or whatever if you want.

Minor threat is pretty good. I made a thread a while ago, and still haven't listened to all these bands yet, but from what I can tell these should be pretty good:

The descendants- Milo Goes To College
Minor Threat- just get their complete discography, it's one EP and one album.
Anti-Flag- Die For The Government
Agent Orange- Living In Darkness
Dead Kennedys- Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables
The Adolescents- Adolescents

Uhhh, if you like Choking Victim you'll probably like Leftover Crack.
lol i was just gonna say anti flag, the singer and me punched each other at the concert

I listen to a lot of different things, but I'm picky about what I listen to... most people expect me to be a strictly screamo, emo, core, kinda guy, but I'll put on some of my laid back tunes(which I mostly like, energy, but not relying on speed for that) and they are always shocked...
