well i didint really know where to post this.. but yeah.
I love this book (not done yet). Really interesting stuff in it..
Its strange to know that people like Da Vinci and even George Washington were in secret societies.. And that there were so many hidden symblos linking to their cult in the work of da vinci.
Like the vetruvian man, that sketch of the perfect man (by the divine proportion - im sure youve all heard of thsi stuff from geometry) and how its supposed to represent a pentagram, which is the symbol for feminity. (by the way, im bringing that up because the cult he was in, the order of sion or something like that, was very into female worship.. even da vinci was a homosexual)
I really liked what i learned about Mona Lisa.. its really odd. This masterpiece is full of hidden symbolism. For example, Amon was the egyptian God for male fertility, and Isis was the female goddess of fertility. Together they make an anagram: AMON L'ISA which also can be arranged to make MONA LISA. This explains her.. manly look. This picture brings together male and female attriibutes, which is what the pagan cult he was in was all about. Bringing men and women back together, unlike how the Church seperated the sexes with the garden of eden myth, bringing women down.
it sounds like im just babbling on and on.. but if you read this book youl understand i guess.
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. Read it if you havent. But has anyone here read it?

it is also partly fictional because dan brown mixes fact with fiction in almost all his books...i guess you gotta have a strong faith when reading that book

I've read it and I will agree that it is a fantastic book and many of the ideas proposed in it are fascinating. But at the same time you must also ponder that it is a fictional work, and that it was meant to sell copies, not be historical correct. So don't take every fact that is given in the book as a straight forward fact. I'm not saying some of it might be true, but there are surely falsehoods and stretches to simply make the book a better read. What you should really do is start to investigate the ideas proposed in the book and get better source material to either validate or debunk the ideas.

im reading the book at the moment aswell. great book so far, its a pge turner and its really interesting stuff. all the pagan symbolism is really interesting i think, like how the pentacle was the sighn for the sacred feminine and christianty changed it and made peole think its the sign of the devil.

Ok i dont know if u are christian or anything but its teaching against the christian faith. It is fiction but a lot of people dont know that and they take the book word for word.It says things that never happended and i would advise people not to read it.It was meant to catch the minds of christians and change them and the more people that read the book will change their minds about christ.

Exactly, christians bashing the book saying it's all false, well there is no way for sure to prove the integrity of the bible.
