I need to write an argument essay and I chose to write it about how non-mainstream culture is becoming more mainstream in our society today and I have to main points those being music and fashion, but I can't think of a third one. Any ideas?

fashion = clothes?

the only thing I can think of now is that it seems like society is more accepting than it used to be of "bad" things. "it seems today, that all you see is violence in movies and sex on tv"

you could probably do something with that.

Uh whatever mainstream and non-mainstream means it's all opinion. Same goes with style or popularity or all those useless words.

That's not that great of an arguement, there's so many better things you oculd use.

I can't think of any off the top of my head. Are you just arguing a point?

yes I pretty much just have to prove that stuff that was not mainstream years ago is now becoming more mainstream

Hell, do skateboarding. My uncle skated in the 80's and he's always tellin me how different it was. Talk about how blacks were discriminated against in America, and now they're dominant in the media.

I could go on all day..

You could, but I doubt you have enough solid, factial information to provide a good backbone to your arguement.
