Deluxe is selling completes now. Although the trucks and bearings are non-branded (more than likely are shit). Atleast kids can get an affordable complete that's not World Industries. Haha.

I work at a shop and I think its cool cause shit here is expensive cause it has to be shipped from the states and it means more little dudes whos parents (who normally only want the cheapest thing e.g. a kid who was going to nationals and his mum came and she was complaining he is going through a board a month) buy stuff will be able to get into/hyped on skating easier which is good cause the most money you spend on skating is on the first set up so its good to have a reasonable price reasonable quality complete. After that parts are easy to buy one by one which spreads the cost out.

I don't like pre-built completes anyway, so the company doesn't really matter to me.

I would never buy a complete myself. But for first time skaters its great to have another selection besides the ever so common world industries, bam elements, and zeros.

even when i first started out, i picked out the parts individually from my skate shop
I'd most likely buy it when I was starting out.
I didn't give a fuck I didn't know much about skateboarding back then so I just rode whatever so I could just skate

Are the trucks and bearings really unbranded? The DLX completes at my shop had a Real deck, Spitfire Wheels and Bearings, and Thunder Trucks and Bolts. I dont know what grip they had.

Yeah, it makes more sense that way since that's all deluxe product and they could easily do that.
I was curious so I emailed a couple sites asking them about it and they said they are unbranded. I don't understand why they would do that, but maybethey're just trying to make a more affordable setup..

Yeah, plus keep in mind that pre-built completes, for the most part, are aimed towards beginners looking to get a slightly cheaper but reliable skateboard. The deck is probably the only thing a beginner is gonna really be concerned about.
So now they have the oppurtunity to venture into other brands that don't traditionally offer such set-ups, so kudos to DLX, I suppose.
