this is a new type of board by plan B called the prolite and it is a normal 7 ply board but with 3 thin core ply's with military grade glue and i was wondering if anyone has heard of it or has purchased one and used it.. if you have tell me how it rides and what you think of it here is a link:

i wouldnt buy it myself but my friend was in newyork and got one for $20 at a contest so ill ask him how it skates..

3 of my friends have them and one of them goes through a board a week but this seems to be lasting him

I tried someone's and it's actually pretty nice. the shape is really nice and the concave is actually medium-steep unlike most plan bs. I have no idea about the durability though.

i tried a plan b and didn't like it, it felt soggy as hell
you can try it if you want tho but don't get the prolite one.

someone who was at a comp with me had one, and it seemed amazing, much better than other plan b boards

okay from what i understand plan b is using military issued glue (from info at the local skateshop) to hold the wood together making it stronger which also lets them use less plies of wood for the deck making it lighter and stronger.

if they added the regular amount of wood, and used the military glue, it would be SUPER STRONGER!!! but seriously, my friend won a prolite at a contest yesterday, i will ask how it skates, and try it myself
