wow someone actually isnt hating on girl! i honestly love girl boards, great shape pop and feel, and people say girl boards chip, that doesnt make any sense if ur chipping ur board on flat u most be horrible at skating but if ur skating like a 7 stair if u kick out the board might land on the nose.
but 3 months that seems really long i only skate my boards 1 1/2 month tops

Theyre pretty good decks, but the only bad thing about them from the girl decks that I have had, is that they chip very easily. Other than that I think they are sick decks.

Only the Mike Mo shape is good. All the others are shit.

The last Girl deck I had was a Mike Mo, and it had a weird shape. The concave near the nose was medium, while the concave near the tail was almost flat. I thought it was kind of weird when I first got it but I got used to it so it was fine. I dont think Ive ever had a deck shape like that before.

carrol's have a really pointy tail and wide nose. that's the one i had.
edit: i don't remember how long it lasted me. but i'm curious to try one again. but.... i want to order like 5 or 10 blanks from maybe blankdecks.com or pop lite blanks to see if they are good. then i can save money instead of paying $50 or $60 every 2 months for a new deck.

hahahaha almost everyone on this forum is all up on dlx. DLX DLX OMG THEYRE SOO AMAZING.

Im skating a real board right now, and I really dont see that much of a difference besides the akward shape the board has to it. They definitely are not worth the hype they have.

In no way am I saying they are bad decks, but they aren't anything special either.


Girl boards are really good. This is my opinion. After riding them for two years, Ive come to that conclusion. They last me about a month if im lucky which is fine for me. I skate everyday for a long amount of time each day. And im not just skating flatground like a lot of people on this site. Because, I really dont see how a board can last you such a long time if you're skating it constantly everyday.

Also, something that really aggrivates me is when people say " they're good but they chip easily"

Seriously, For the almost four years I have been skating, I can honestly say that I have chipped one or two boards if that, in the past two years.

I do not understand how your board can chip so much/easily. I skate everyday like I said, and a lot more than flatground. My boards never chip unless I get mad at myself and throw them. I just don't understand how everyone chips their decks. It doesn't make sense to me.

Maybe you don't land bolts often. Breaking a deck on a two set is ridiculous Girl decks may not be better than DLX decks but their still good.

true, girl decks are really good decks, but from my experience DLX decks are way better. Yet again personal experience is what make you stick to companies in the first place. This is what skateboarding is all about sticking with the company you support. So please if you hated Girl decks thats fine. Hate on them. But support a company, that will make you ride their decks forever.
