it's called stretch denim. read up before you try and bash something with no prior knowledge to the subject. and who ever said baggy pants and skateboarding go together? there's no normal.

You mean like tom penny?
Bullshit.
It's just a trend, why do people try to rationalise trends like there's some legitimate practical reason for their existence? It's purely fashion, and baggy pants will be in fashion again, very soon I would guess, tight jeans are already starting to look played out pretty hard.

why can't we just live in a society where the fit of your pants doesn't say anything?

It all depeneds on who you are.
I skate slims because i don't really like baggy pants knocking against my legs and it looks dumb on me.
But on someone like rob dyrdek or how ever you spell it he probably likes how baggy pants feel and it suits him i guess

skate what you feel more comfortable in. Over the top tight pants are just a trend, such as neon colored clothing and lensless glasses, or glasses with a bright or white colored rim

People skate in skinnies because they find it more comfortable. Don't be idiots, and assume people wear them all the way up their ass like girls do. (Most)Guys wear them really low so as to not crush their balls. And they work because they're stretch denim, and stretch quite a bit. Of course, if you only ever tried the guy skinny jeans from Pac Sun of course you weren't gonna like them. Those idiots made them with no ball room, and they don't stretch at all. Essentially the worst pants ever made

Edit: I saw most guys 'cause I go to school with this kid who wears girl pants as far up as they can go, it's fucking ridiculous.

yeah I sag my skinnies a lot, but not too much. on a funny note, my ex girlfriend suggested i wear her old pants for skating.... it was so damn tight i had to freeball and the crotch ripped after the 2nd kickflip attempt lol.

theres a difference between tight skate pants and tight girls jeans. besides, compared to girls jeans, tight skate pants will feel pretty baggy.

I can't skate in baggy pants, I'm not trying to follow a trend or anything, I just don't like when I flick out and my leg moves around in the pant leg. I find tight pants to be more comfortable anyways
