Im skating the terry kennedy captain crunch baker right now. I've had habitat's, aws, girls, dgk's and this baker is tied for my favorite board with girl. The girl had the best shape ever and had a little better pop. But it snapped quick, my baker is lasting a long time, its really strong, and doesn't chip a lot either. I've never had a deathwish but they should be just like baker. Also im gonna try a real next

I've had two deathwish boards, pop was good and i loved the shape but durability wasn't very strong. Neither of them really chipped though. That's just my experience.

My first deck was a Plan b so would the concave be flat like this?? if it is that would be ok for me.

I'm skating a deathwish right now, I like it, it seems like a really solid deck, shape is comfortable and pop is good. Wish it had a tad more concave but its a solid deck.

I would get a baker because my deathwish skated ok but it broke after a month to a month and a half not even skating drops except for the first day really.

Deathwish is manufactured by Blackbox's same press and wood. If you don't like blackbox decks then don't get a Deathwish. Baker's are just okay, nothing fantastic but not bad.

deathwish is not made by black box, black box makes Slave Mystery and Zero

I think you should get baker, but dont let other people decide what you should do. do it yourself.

This is just like girl and chocolate.. in this case, i say baker for pop, deathwish for durability. No matter what you choose, its gonna be a good board if its down to these two
Edit- Forgot to say, Personally I like Deathwish more, bakers still great though

baker and deathwish are not the same, there two different distributors, baker is blitz dist, and deathwish is baker boys, they both feel completely different I've had both. bakers are more stiff and have better shapes and dont chip. deathwishes are not as strong, are kinda squishy and snap like toothpicks. bakers also have more pop than deathwish but i think deathwish are lighter by a lil bit. i think there both kind mellow concave tho

Deathwishes aren't as durable? Because from what I have heard Baker has good pop but Deathwish is more durable... hmm. But you are right, they both are mellow
