nah, everything gets easier the bigger you go, I'm skating an 8.5 and have no problems flipping it. Easier to catch tricks though, and my tricks get higher every deck size I go up.

I think flip tricks are easier on bigger decks... it's not the deck that effects flip tricks.. it's the size trucks you have.(as in length, not highs or lows.)
I would go with an 8 and ifyou like it try an 8.25.
I'm still contemplating whether to moe up to an 8.5 or not..

7.9 is good or even a 7.8 but whatever is good for you

Im skating an 8.4 right now and I can do all my previous tricks that I used to do on my 7.75 with even higher pop and more steeze.

Skinnier decks flip faster but are harder to catch. I like really big decks so on the few flip tricks I do I can catch that shit easy.
its all personal preference but imo people have a shittier style if theyre riding like a 7.5 or something

bigger the better, but don't go from 7.5 to an 8.5 straight away, make small upgrades every deck you buy

Maybe get a 7.87 or 8.0. That way you could still use your old 7.75 trucks.
Yeah, with a bigger deck... you could do things more flatfooted and less on your toes... thus adds more "steez" as some would say.

What I've noticed i moved up from a 7.45 to an 8, it's weird for about a day, and then you'll love it, anything smaller seems tiny and completely illogical to ride, so much easier to land on bigger boards...
