So i bought a Krooked 8.0 about 2-3 weeks ago.
And i was skating with my friends at this set near me...
And after about 30 minutes, to my surprise...
There was a chip about the size of my thumb smack-dab on the front of the nose... not too happy about it.
When i was asking about DLX it came to my understanding that they are NOT supposed to chip easily...
Does this happen often to Krooked and i just didn't get the right info? I'm not saying it's a bad deck, my favorite deck so far great shape and just a good feel to it.
Is there a way to repair chips? like a small amount of shoe goo? the chip is still hanging off.

DUDE! The same exact thing happened to me after 2 days of skating my REAL.
Then it just started chipping like a mofo.

just cuz deluxe has a good reputation of having good boards, doesnt mean its not gonna be less prone to chipping. on any deck, if its flying and lands on the nose, chances are it will chip.

Yeah, but I got a REAL because at the time everyone on SB-C was raving over REAL and i read reviews and stuff. Everyone basically said it was a DURABLE deck.

maybe they did a half assed job when making your deck cause my REAL still hasn't chipped after the month n a half i had it. and i have had some slip outs which resulted in my deck hitting a wall at a moderately fast pace, but not many.

Hmm... It's not like it will effect my skating, it just looks really ugly.

dlx is hit or miss, I had a krooked I loved and it lasted over a month, and then I had an anti hero that snapped in 2 days, I like the feel of them but some of them get brittle fast, they need time to soggy up.

I only had 1 Krooked, it snapped from a front lip on a flatbar just fucking around but i did pop too high and land hard so i can't say it wasn't my fault when it clearly was. I had mine for about 2 weeks and it did chip on the tail but nothing too bad. All around was a nice deck but my dumbass broke it.

I really dont understand how decks chip so much for people. My decks almost never chip unless I get angry and start throwing them.
