I have like 58's, or close to that size. I've had them for forever and am wondering about getting smaller wheels. I don't really skate much tranny because I don't really go to skateparks that often. Last time I went was probably more than half a year ago. I skate street like all the time. So should I get smaller wheels? And if so, what size? 52's? 50's?

It's whatever you like.

the smaller the faster the bigger the easier to roll over things but slower

get 52s theyre sorta in the middle

Big wheels are faster than small wheels.
Way faster. Big wheels with cheap crappy bearings are faster than small wheels with top of the line ceramic bearings.
Big wheels are better for everything except tricks, if you're used to tricking on big wheels and don't care if douchey kids think your wheels aren't cool, I'd just stick with them, if you're struggling with tricks go smaller.
Maybe try some cheap small wheels, and then when they flatspot you can decide whether you prefer big or small wheels, then get bones stf/spfs in whatever size and they'll last you forever (basically).

QFT.

Don't waste your money on new wheels, just wear them down. Gives you an excuse to do more powerslides and reverts.

that's retarded. In the mid 90's they made 40's and they sucked ass. Course every idiot was rocking huge baggy pants and tiny wheels, and now we got tight pants and big wheels.

Everyone has tiny wheels now.
Tiny wheels haven't been as popular as they are now since like 91.

Big wheels are for speed and for like tranny.
small wheels are for flip tricks.
if your into street i would get smaller wheels. but u said you have had those wheels for awhile so they should be worn down.

I wouldn't get really small wheels or really big ones
get some imbetween because if you skate with real big wheels it kinda just throws everything off. but if you skate with real small wheels the smallest crack can throw you off your board

imo, wheel size doesnt matter cause theyre just gonna wear down anyways I usually get 56's and skate them till they shrink down

If you're anywhere on the East Coast, the weather makes most of the streets shitty
Pennsylvania is like that

big wheels are for vert cause they are faster
tiny ones are for street and all that cause they are easier to do tricks and they accelerate faster

well the vert guys do a lot of tricks...so people can do tricks with big wheels

Smaller wheels lessens the angle on 50-50 ledge grinds by a little bit.

If you wear em down there gonna be fat

I'd say 52 bones stf's are the best thing to get if you wanna go middle ranged
