Want a Skatepark in Vaughan, Ontario?

There are plans to construct a Skatepark in Concord Thornhill Regional Park. (407 and Dufferin) They've been working on for over 3 years.

Vaughan city council submitted this project as part of the Infrastructure Stimulus Program request and was denied.

There's already a skatepark on the other side of weston.. it's small but usually not to busy, chill.

Not dead. I heard from the councillor - the city has committed $500,000, but they need to raise the other $500,000 from private sector.

thats alright... they just need to get it sponsored by a mega company
some faceless corporations are walmart, west 49, etc.
see if we can get that 500,000
