What are the advantages on getting low trucks. What are the advantages on getting high trucks?

Low trucks - more stability for flip tricks
high - Better pop.
I personally like getting wide boards (8.25") with mid trucks, risers, and 57 mm wheels (it raises the board even more). The wideness of the deck makes it more stable for flip tricks, and since it's also high, it get's better pop.

actually, low trucks equal more pop. The closer the board is to the ground, the more the energy will go into the pop. With high trucks, more energy is required in order to pop the board.

Not really... You're weak if 1/8" higher makes it harder to ollie.
