Ok, first off, as I'm looking through the deck threads, almost all of them have something like "Plan B Pj Ladd was the best board I had" and then one post down "Plan B's suck get a Popwar" Then the next person would say they hate Popwar, and so on.
I need good advice, unbiased against the company, and don't tell me something broke in two weeks if every time you fell you threw the board at something.
Heres my thoughts: Almost, Plan B, Habitat, or Zero
If you think another board is better than these than you reccomend that too

habitat and i think popwar are made by the same people, they have great pop but not that strong.
i just got a zoo york and it is really good, been skatin it for about a month and it still seems strong.
i had a mystery before and it was just like habitat, great pop and concave but it didnt last me that long. so it just depends what your looking for.
also if you go to a shop the guy there is ussualy experianced(sp) and can recomend a good board

Get a Mini Logo. They are cheap. They have awsome pop, good concave they are druable i had mine for a year, and they are treated with specail slide crap so they boardslide easier.

A decks a deck when it all comes down to it. The only thing that sets them hugely apart are things like warpage due to heat, improper glue drying etc. And this is nothing to do with some companies being ***** its just luck of the draw.
If you are going to be picky about it then you need to go into a skateshop and really inspect each individual deck for shape, concave, glue strength, roundness of the edges etc etc but really- who cares when you get used to a new concave within a few hours of skating it, and its gonna be time to replace in about 2 months max anyway.
Just go for size, shape, and then go on the picture, or think who you want to give your money to.
