FUCKIN OPEN THE THREAD AND LISTEN TO THE SONGS (nah, seriously it's worth it)

I don't imagine it ever crosses your awareness over in the states (or anywhere else for that matter) but it's definitely worth a peek..

These are some choice tracks:

One reply after nearly 24 hours? that's lame....

But to above, Hilltops are good, but the only album I've heard of theirs (the hard road restrung) just doesn't seem to be on the same level as these guys.. But don't get me wrong, they're still sick

^ Thats a strange album to be the only one you've heard of them.

On a side note, a friend of mine was having a new years party at his place (in Tasmania) in a share house, and Bliss and Eso were randomly there. Just drank and talked with them for a while. That was like at the end of '05. Seemed like cool people.

Yeah, I listened to the original one ages ago I think, but I don't really remember it..

But that sounds sick abotu Bliss and Eso, I'm stoked because I'm seeing them in June

I think aussie hip hop is lame as shit to be honest, as an australian I find it really embarrassing.
I just hate the way they all sound, like really scummy obnoxious white trash, I don't sound like that at all and don't aspire to sound like that, I know people who sound like that and they're low-life pieces of shit. The worst part is it often feels like the "hip hop artists" are faking that disgusting boganish voice to sound like other previous scumbag aussie hip hop guys. It sounds so retarded and ignorant, I don't want to feel like I'm being "asked for a durry" or "threatened with a syringe" while I'm listening to music.
