I know nothing about this guitar
except that my grandfather played it in some country bands in nashville
i dont think that its a shitty guitar because even after all this time (however long that maybe)
it still sounds better than my new epiphone special model (even though they sound like shit)
it could ahve possibly came with a Gorrilla amp which i still have
the gorrilla amp and thats only possibly came with it.
i just got it fixed for $20
to get new tuners and a short in the switchs fixed.
it reminds me of a harmony. but it has not a singly marking on it anywhere

this new cigarette tax is a way to tax cigarette smokers!
except for.
Mr obama promised he would not allow in anyway raise taxes for poor people
(although his budget says the exact opposite of that)
this tax on cigarettes is towards smokers (obviously)
but a majority of smokers are POOR PEOPLE.
so he lied.
i know many a rich man that smokes cigarettes. that's like saying sales tax is a tax to the poor.
it's whatevz though

Take it to a luthier and see what he says. Also, check the pickups for logos or just scan that whole thing looking for the slightest logo.

The bridge/saddle piece definitly looks pretty vintage. Plus the pickup configuration switches like that are usually found on higher quality guitars.
It's probably a custom.

for everyone saying its custom, it is definitely not. It's a teisco or a similar japanese guitars from the 60s and 70s. Not valuable, but really cool all the same. They had little plates with the brand on the headstock that tend to fall off. They made so many its hard to track down a particular model
here are some other tiescos, if you want to see the similarities in pickups and tailpieces etc.

Domino, Prestige, Guyatone, and Kawai also made very similar guitars around that time too.
but yeah, 60's guitars got pretty crazy
just because I love them, here are some pictures, though not really relevant to the thread

dude try to repair the tremolo, its a pretty sweet guitar tho
Vlad the Conqueror

all he'd need to do is get the bar for it, but those trems tend to pull the guitar out of tune when used so most people don't bother
