everyone says"bakers kick ass" but what in your own experience make bakers so good?
because im thinking of getting one

durability for a lot of different tricks...for ollies from leap of faith distance = NO! , gaps, lots of stairs, big drops are all things that baker board are HORRIBLY BAD in!
now things such as boardsliding, flat land tricks from the ground are things bakers are great for! they are durable for the most part...if i were you i would save my money and get a Zero! they are pretty good for gaps, stairs, and drops.

I've only skated zero and enjoi and neither were really durable, but I liked the enjoi more.

haha thanks for the compliment. ya i think im going to go enjoi just because enjoi uses happier graphics. and ive skated zero for a long time and i want to try something different

you know, i think these posts dont make a difference to the poster when they hear all the answers...cuz one person says baker, someone else says popwar, someone else says enjoi, someone else says darkstar, and another person would say almost. so i think its all about what kind of skating you do and just personal preference.

i see what you mean but i dont know what these brands are like because ive never ridden them so im trying to get other peoples opinions

Don't get a baker. The pop is AMAZING the first 2 weeks, but it runs out after that, they have the WORST and i mean WORST concave. plus theyre heavy, go with zero. Zeros pop lasts a long time, they are good for most tricks except boardslides *if you land badly*.

I think he knows graphics dont mean ***** but if your faced with the choice of two boards, the same price and both as good as each other, you are going to choose via the graphic. I think thats what he meant.

i got a baker...my only complants would be that it chipped really easily....trust me that doesnt mean urs is going to chip..its just all my boards chip....and taht the pop wasnt taht amazing...but still get a baker cuz they r all around good decks
