So I'm thinkin about getting a Girl or Almost, but can't decide. I want mellowish concave and a lot of pop in my board. It also has to be sturdy (Stairs!) So whats your opinion on these two, which is better? I like girl but my friends got razortail in like 2 fucking weeks. And I heard almost looses pop quickly.

Still dunno wat to get tho Don't ever go to zumiez they have a very bad selection of decks and a bunch of people that don't know anything about skateboarding, go to your local skateshop 90% of the time their prices will be cheaper and they'll have a better selection of decks, as for Girl and Almost neither. Girl is Chinese crap Almost break to easily. Get REAL,Krooked,or Habitat and don't get a 7.5

ok, for sure don't get an almost, especially the uber lights. they suck. i don't ride girl i ride an alien workshop or habitat (both made same). But i've heard girl decks are good, skate shops around columbus dont sell almost decks cuz they say they suck. so go ride a girl!

wow, they're alienating a group of customers, some who probably like them and people who want to try them out. thats pretty lame

a lot of no's for the almost. around school people tell me to get a zero instead. I'm still stuck on what to get.

Girls have nice graphics and a good team the actual deck got a chip in 1 day from ollies on flatground which seems kinda stupid but have good pop for a while.. the almost should last a lot longer go to almosts catalog and it says whcih decks have full medium or mellow concaves ive heard reals are really good i might try that if i were you also anti heros are good

Don't know about almost but as for girls, I think they are great boards with good shapes and all, but the wood sucks, starts chipping and razor tailing veryyy fast.

So I've decided on Almost. I was at school today, the fire bell went off and this kid had his board oustide. It was an Almost Impact. So i skated it and loved it after i did a kickflip. Girls are good, just that whole razortail and cheap wood thing sucks. Alien Workshop's seem to lose pop quickly (my brother has one), and DGK have too much concave. Thanks for the opinions guys.

No, actually since it snows like 6-10 inches in the winter where i live, i stopped till winter was over. so i skated on and off. you should see it now. the tails like 2.5 inches and the grip is peeling off, its got mad razortail, it's just fucked.

okay so you can so your tricks for, just this month are Nollie heels, Tres, Big Spins, Switch Heels, Double Heels, Double Kicks, and no-complys. First of all thats allot to learn in one month. Second of all yousaid you've been skating since 05' and it's 09'. Thats 4 years, Ive only been skating one and i can tre and Big Spin and i'm working on nollie flips and nollie heels. How long did it take you to learn how to ollie, 3 years?
