Almost impact decks?

I snapped 2 Krooked decks in about a month each, and even as much as i love Krooked's, I need a stronger board around the truck area. I was wondering, re almost impacts significantly stronger than normal decks? Also how do they skate? Are they lighter than normal decks? Thanks :-)

I heard mystery was comming up with impact support as well. I used to have a almost impact. It lasted a long time. They start losing there pop in a month or two, but it was a good deck in my oppinion.

really fuck thats one of the reasons i loved mystery other than the skate extremely good because they dont do any high tech shit and are one of the few remaining natural 7ply all wood brands
but if this is true i may get one and compare it to other mysteries

My last deck was an almost imapct. It was a nice deck, really helped with pressure cracks, but it was a little heaver than the decks that I usually ride.

I never really snap decks but, I asked for an Almost for my birthday and they got me an Impact. It has lasted since febuary and still has good pop and very little razor tail. I think it is a good deck and I have been doing bigger stuff then I used to do and it has held up so I'd reccomend it.

I have a Almost Impact. The pop is all right but it's a pretty strong board. I've had it over a month and it's still holding up really good.

i dont really like em anymore. ive broken like 4 almost impact decks since last november. i got one returned because it was under warranty, but thats it. the layers split apart pretty easily so it starts chipping quickly (i had chips in it within a week or 2). it is an insanely good deck while it lasts
