View Full Version : Looking at Santa Cruz and Deathwish

Never rode either of them, only stood on a Santa Cruz in my shop.

It seemed orgasmic, the shape was very steep, with a big nose and tail, just what I like.

I also want to try out a Deathwish however, but have never even seen one.

The only thing I don't like about my Krooked is the tail is kinda mellow, and I like a steep tail.

So how's the shape of Deathwish, and what would you get if you were in my situation?

Well I want to see how Deathwishes are, because the Santa Cruz is like $60 because it's a powerlyte or whatever they are.

well ask the shop if they have any maybe in back or something because shops dont always have all their decks on display usually the most popular brands out and as the run low on stock they bring out the less popular brands

No I know the guys at the shop and I know what they carry, I would have to get the Deathwish online but it might be worth it.

they have a nice shape from what i remember and skate pretty good ive used my friends

santa cruz last a long time and they also have good pop i would go with a santa cruz if i was u

I'm actually riding a powerlyte right now...

Pretty good deck. It's thinner (and maybe little lighter) than most because of the thinner plies and that funky laminate. But regardless, the deck skates like a normal one so if you like the shape get on that shit.

Plus, back in the day when the powerlytes first came out, the ads claimed the laminate made the decks bulletproof. Probably BS, but funny nonetheless.

Yea, I think I'm just gonna end up getting the Santa Cruz, and yes it is in the same company as Creature.

they made a santa cruz deck that was bullet proof or atleast 1 of the layers are u should get that 1
