If it's so rocky you can't roll smoothly on it, no wheel will fix this.

Dude, in my country, rollerblade wheels read every seam and crack and line in the road. My vision gets blurry and my knees vibrate. there is no large concreted public area anywhere since skating is not a dominant part of our culture.

Then you're fucked.

There is no wheel that works on the type of road you talk about.

Unless it's an actually wheel with a rubber tire on it.

Which a skateboard wheel is not.

Well I'd say your best bet would be a set of Bones DTFs

ya i had the same problem you do, really bumpy rocky ground.

for me I bought some long boarding soft wheels that I use to get to class and around quickly and when I want to skate I just switch them. However since this basicaly means you can do tricks then you can look for some bigger softer wheels, someone recomended me some 60 or 61 mm saying they could still do lots of tricks, or skate on the sidewalk, or just deal with it.

Luckily for me they are repaving all the roads and putting in new sidewalks everywhere around town so its a really really smooth ride

Ha ha! to the guys posting about no wheel other than rubber working on pavement. Don't tell that to the hoards of skaters that can roll 30mph-plus, carve, slide, do tricks and more. They're using the right wheel for the job, rather than a purpose-built trick wheel or pool wheel which you should expect to suck on pavement. They're not designed for that.

If you want to stick with your trick board for transport or just screwing around but on pavement, you should think about adding 1/4" Khiro soft risers (hard rubber) and bumping up to a 60, 62 or 63mm wheel in 78-83a durometer. You can get them in shapes you're familiar with for trick boards, (centerset, rounded shoulders, narrow tread) or wider that will roll super fast and right over the cracks and texture that are blurring your vision now ... think 78a for those.

Here's a wide, 60mm tall wheel that comes from 78a to 98a:

...and there's Bones, Satori and others out there waiting for ya. With those and the rubber riser, you won't get wheelbite and the board will ride smoother and faster than ever on those roads you're dealing with.

If you want to really rip around, score yourself a 30" retro deck, slap some Trackers or Bennetts on it and use 65 or 70mm wheels in 78a, just like all those boards you saw ripping ditches in Lords of Dogtown or whatever. Larger diameter wheels in softer duros are the fastest on pavement.
