iPod downloading.

What the hell. I just got my iPod and downloaded iTunes and everything. I hooked up the USB and everything, but it says in the preferences that its not connected. How the hell do I fix that and transfer music to my iPod?

Its on... I turn it on, connect the USB in the front *and I have tried tha back*, and it says that there is no iPod connected.

you've got to use the firewire cable not the USB. if you dont have a firewire port then you need to get a firewire capture card from walmart or something.
