Aluminum?

I was checking out ebay the other day, when i came across these:

Is this shit lame?
I talked to my friend about it and he said that would be really "gay" to have one of them and it would be considered "cheating".
Has anyone even heard of Aluminum boards, let alone tried them?
I know i'd never get one, It's just i think it would be cool if they're really light.

NEVER BUY ONE!!!!!!

1. They are so heavy its like skating with concrete shoes

2. They have sucky pop that only lasts a week

3. I bent it in half on a handrail (right after I traded a kid for his geoff rowley motorhead deck)

the one i rode was good and light and the kicks dont wear down that quick maybe a moth or 2 depending on how hard you skate with them but theres metal covers on the kicks so it dont wear down i did bs 360s out of a mini half pipe into a ledge at the skatepark and the ledge was prob 2 and a half decks high so i tihnk there good

Mine was terrible. It had really good pop, but was twice as heavy as a wood deck, unslideable, and the ends are a pain in the ass to get back in, eh?!?
