You can't see the graphic when you skate, it's not that big a deal.
And aren't all the deck pretty much the same?

Will that effect my skating in any way? Is it harder to do flips with wider decks? I have always skated on 7.5 and 7.75, Or 7.8 for that matter, so I'm a bit afraid to go to 8.0

It takes like a day to get used to but after that you will have all of your tricks cleaner and better caught, bigger decks are so much better i'm skating a 8.25 right now and loving it.

Sounds nice! Do you get like better pop to? I always thought that a bigger board will make my ollies lower and my flip tricks slower.

not a real difference with ollies but flip tricks take getting used too. Get anything but the first and last those graphics suck.

nope ollies stay the same height and my flip tricks got higher and cleaner.

i think if they are from the same company be pretty much the same. i like 8.0 personally wasnt that hard to get used to at first. i feel alot more comfortable on a bigger deck. the flick was harder for me at first but i think overall its better.

how long have you been skating? Cause if you've been skating long enough to know what kind of decks you like that statement would be completely wrong.
And once you go to a kayo or DLX deck your not going back to any of that shit wood (girl, almost, enjoi, plan b, element etc) again. If you dont like the DGK try krooked or real DLX and Kayo are the best woods out there but they are both different tastes. Kayo has a snappier pop and the deck feels lighter, usually steeper concave too. DLX has a more solid pop and feels like a tank, not any heavier than your average deck but it feels like its not going to break. I like both distributions but DLX is more for me.

So true. I'm never getting anything but a Real or Krooked probably from now on. They are so durable and they have just as much pop as a Girl/Chocolate/Enjoi/Almost

That's what I was gonna say, then I noticed 2 were 7.81 and one of those had negro colonel sanders on it, so it's pretty fucking obvious. Bottom one.

8.0s are amazing, flips are cleanier, and more easier in imo.
And DGKs are pretty good, they last pretty long.

Yeah you're pretty much a fag untill you skate 8s, it's ok to be a fag for a while but you should gradually up the size of your board with goals of becoming a non-fag 8 skater in the future.
Go the 7.8 fried chicken.
