i guess like, convert it into an .avi or something?

idk i'm on a pc right now but is it easier to do on a mac? cause then i'll just put in on there. i just dont know how to do it.

A hell of a lot easier on a Mac dude. All you do is put it into iMovie, then go up top to Share, then click Export using Quicktime, there you have a wide range of options in which format/file you can convert to.
