my mom ran over both of my surfboards. i had them in my car and then this kid came over and he wanted to see my boards cause he was thinking about getting one like mine so i took it in the garage and showed the kid then just layed them in teh middle of the garage because the cars were in the driveway and there was christmas stuff where i usually put them.

then like 20 minute later my moms all UHHH GO CHECK YOUR BOARDS

she ran them over. and the stupidest part is she walked past them to get into her car. she probably had to step over them.

there's a huge pressure dent in my favorite board now, and my mom keeps blaming it on me for putting my board in front of her car, but she put her holiday stuff where i put my board, and her car was in teh driveway so i thought it would be safe.

so whose fault was it?

It's your mom's fault, she's saying it's your fault that she ran over them.

Your fault. You were the one who put them there in the first place. there must have been another place you could of put them. If she would have told you or she herself put them there and forgot it would be her fault.

well the door was right next to my boards, she walked past my boards then ran them over. and my dad told me to put them there so it's not like it was an unreasonable place for them

actually he might have put them there. i was showing my dad and the guy the boards, then my dad put it back in my board bag which was in the spot in front of the car.

Sucks man, you got mad money though don't you? You could easily replace them, or have it repaired if that's possible with surfboards.

Completely unrelated: I saw a license plate today that said "SK8NSRF"

Your dad's fault for telling you to place them in the garage, your fault for not putting them away, your mom's fault because she was too oblivious to even notice them.

And that sucks man.

Hey lets not go pointing fingers ok. Your all mature adults.
Partly its ur fault for letting ur friend look at your boards without having supervision on what he was doing. You could have been that and watched him as he checked our your boards. But it is also your mothers fault of having so many christmas decorations in the place of your boards natural area of being. She may have seen it but she may not have seen it on the way out. In the end u gotta be optimistic about it all and look on the bright side. Go to your local pacific sunwear store and buy some new boards.

Whoever put them there's fault. It's not uncommon at all for people to be oblivious to something on the ground or in the way. If your mom was thinking about something else, had something in her hand, etc, it wouldn't be hard at all for it to not hit her the boards were right there. Even if she wasn't, something like that slipping her mind could easily happen. If you had the boards there and walked away, it's totally yours. Shoulda put them back.

and the reason the cars were outside of teh garage was because there was no room in teh garage in the first place.

it wasn't my fault. my dad even said it wasn't my fault. i was mainly sharing my mom's stupidity.
