Ok so a b/s boardslide is when your heels are facing the rail and you do a half spin towards your heels. So then how come a b/s shuv it is when the board spins towards your toes hoes is this making sence.

Because in grinds and slides, frontside or backside depends what part of your body is facing the obstacle you are going to grind or slide. Back facing obstacle: backside. Front facing obstacle: frontside.
