does it matter about the size of the trucks to put on riser pads

Not really but if your trucks are low you might want risers to prevent wheelbite
I used to have risers on my mid trucks and I took them off since there's really no need for them and they just make my ollies lower.
But also if your wheels are big maybe you should use risers to prevent wheelbite AND you might need bigger hardware
example: Normal risers are usually 1in.
riser hardware are usually 1.25in.

So my recommendation don't bother with risers unless you have low trucks or large wheels.
