Which shoe should I get?

I am new to skateboarding, retarded me got the Van's Authentics and they ripped so I'm looking for new skate shoes, something light, long-lasting, and affordable. I did some research and narrowed my options to two shoes.

The Fallen Troopers (Chris Cole signature)

AND

The Fallen Rippers (also designed by Chris Cole)

Which one is better? And if you have other suggestions please post them for my consideration, thanks SOO MUCH!

trooper since ur new rippers skate better but rip easier cuz theyre vulcanized and troopers are cupsoles and cupsoles tend to last longer

doesn't really matter since you're new, but if you want to do more kickflips and stairs and gaps i would get the troopers since the cupsole will protect you. The rippers are still great just less durable but more boardfeel

troopers until you feel comfortable with your tricks and sets and shit. then once you got that shit on lock try some rippers
