I posted in the contribute forum, but this should get more views in the deck forum.

So if you've browsed through the Real Catalog on DLXSF.com here lately then you've probably noticed the new Bomber boards that have been designed by James Hardy in there. The Bomber is a traditional 7-ply R1 construction Real Deck but what sets it apart is the thickness of the plies. It makes the board slightly heavier but helps prevent breakage. Bombers come in 8.06" and 8.25" and are about 32 inches long either way. I will be reviewing the 8.06"x 32" blue graphic Bomber. My board is the Faith Skate Supply exclusive. The only difference is the cheaper price at Faith and the Faith logo on the board in front of the back truck bolts. It was priced at $44.99 with grip. I'm guessing Real hooked that up since James is on their team. Ask for Bombers in your local shop and check out these tough decks for yourself. Onto the review and huge pics...

Shape: I'm the type of person who won't buy a skateboard unless I see it myself in a shop. I look for a long, wide tail with plenty of space that's rounded off just right. I don't like a super steep concave but don't like enjoi concave if you know what I mean. The nose for me should be about like the tail, but slightly longer and steeper as every nose is. The Bomber meets all my demands as far as shape goes, so I give it a 10/10

Pop: Just like every Real I've had, the pop is fantastic. The good thing about having a thicker board is that the pop seems to last a bit longer. I'm not way too critical of pop, but I'm sure that those of you out there that suck your knees up to your cheeks when you ollie will like the Bomber's pop just fine. 10/10

Durability: This is the Bomber's strongest point. If you chip or break boards quickly, then you should seriously consider skating a Bomber. Bailing out of tricks down drops has always killed the nose and tail of my board, but this deck held up pretty well, and it hasn't really shown any bad pressure cracks. I've been skating this board for about 9 weeks now and I plan to keep it going. 10/10

The tail of my current board. I sanded it a little bit about a week ago just to keep that chip from getting worse.

I liked it so much that I got a second one, which is an 8.25" instead of an 8.06"

One thing though, I don't recommend this board to any younger kids with small feet unless they already skate huge boards. They require some amount of effort to flip, but it doesn't mess up the average skater.

So overall this board is near perfect, if it were absolutely unbreakable, it'd be perfect. But the skate industry would lose money if that was the case. So Bombers get a 10/10.

I got Winsors, they're skateable lifestyle. They're really durable and grip like velcro. One of the flow dudes skated a pair for most of the summer and said the same thing. I wish they came with PU insoles though, that's the only thing, cause I had to replace the insoles quick cause they flattened out.
