I found a board that is so light its not funny, before you laugh you need to go try out one of these mongoose decks. ok the trucks wheels and bearings are junk so throw them all away and put your good stuff on it. The concave is good, grip tape is good, and the board is so light it feels like cardboard. It gets razor tail fast but if you just need to pop some high ollies this is a good board for that.

It's usually the trucks that make the board heavy.
Get some silver a-class with a krooked and that'll be a light as fuck setup.

Im guessing you haven't had a pair, they are actually good dude, they are really similar to venture superlight lows but lighter.
Downlow-like style kingpin, really light, turn alright, they grind great..

the trucks that came with the board were so shitty when i tightened the king pin it stripped, and when i did a little grind on a parking block the trucks metal got scraped up like it was made of butter. now i have some rail killers they are decent, but the destructo hardware was shit it stripped easy. but i would still say the mongoose deck is better than an element lol since it has lasted over a month now of hard skating.
