You'll love it -- my Gretsch has one on it and I use it all the time.

yeah, you'll have two holes from where the stop bar usually mounts.

It sounds like a cool idea, but make sure you play some guitars with bigsbys if you've never tried one before. Its sort of a love or hate thing with most people.

but if you know you like bigsbys, go for it. I personally love them

yeah my friend had a bigsby on his gretsch and his epiphone gold top les paul

they were both pretty sick and i played them a few times, but i think ill just head over to guitar center and try some out first before i make any crazy decisions. they also add such a badass look to teh guitar

bigsby + low end guitar = bad idea... you will be out of tune in no time.

upgrading a bigsby and new tuners, you might as well just gun for a new guitar. i mean, itll be fun to mess around with but the cost wont be worth it. to me, that is.

If you encounter any tuning issues then get some locking tuners.

dude i doubt locking tuners acutally do anything

all they do is lock the string in place so you dont have to wind it around

nah dude locking tuners work great. most of the time the guitar gets out of tune because of the winds. the strings are rigid, so they dont wind tight enough the first time around, so any sort of movement, especially if you have bigsby/whammy, stuff like that on it makes the winds move around and that gets the guitar out of tune.
