The reason I am asking is because, I like my bones reds a lot, but one of the bearings in the back messed up or whatever, and the wheel doesn't spin as good as the other wheels. Im thinking about getting the flip hkd bearings (abec 7). They look faster than bones reds and only 2 bucks more. What do you guys think? Peace.

the flip bearings(abec 7) take a massive SHIT on the gay ass bones reds, not only are they faster, they'll last longer and don't get dirty as fast.
How do they "look better"?

Bearings are mostly the same, I can get bones reds proformance out of abec 3's.
Its more about how you skate then how fast bearings are.
Bearings arent fast.
The rider is.

if 1 wheel is spinning slower than the rest don't get a whole new set of bearings...

Okay but it is a problem because when I skate the wheel on the back takes more effort to spin, and I have been known the fall foward plenty of times.. I think I might try out flip bearings this time.

Invest in acetone and bones speed cream, that will save you Some moolah.

i've had both and they both are sick, you're good with either one. right now my left top wheel is a little slow from powerslide strain, but that occurs in both the bearings.

Abec rating doesn't count, and for the price difference bones reds are way better.

most bearings in the same price range are good when they break in but i'd go for reds, they lasted me the longest besides some element/tnt bearings from 5-6 years ago lol

Start with Redz. That's my best suggestion.

I've had nothing but bad luck with reds.. I've had ONE good pair out of ten. the one good pair was awesome the other 3 sucked.

just keep your bearing out of water/sand and ANY bearing will work great. seriously, i stick to stock/unnamed bearings. unless you want to deathrace or skate vert, you dont need to be going the extra 3 mph.
