the mandolin isnt worth the money, i dont play it but my friend does, and basicly its like barely playable, the guitar is decent for a starter, nothin great to start but nothin thats goona fukc you up in the long run...

I actually want to try the mandolin.
I like bluegrass, and want to see what I can learn.

EDIT:

And, yes, forgot about the strap.
If I buy a strap, does it come with the screw things?

find a different mandolin thoe thats what im sayin haha.. props to ya that you wanna learn it, just find a better one lol that one sucks complete donkey balls

How did you come to that conclusion? The ratings and reviews look good, and I'm not looking for anything special, just a beginner's. Besides, The RM-100A mandolin is the only affordable one.

my friend has it lol, it really does suck but whatever, like its his first mandolin and it blows so bad

wow that's really cheap. the reviews look good and its only 100 bucks. i have no idea about the madnolin and no nothing about them though
