I was skating to this school about 5 minutes away from my house and it started raining fucking bad. I found some cover but this guy kicked us out. Now my board is soaking wet. It pretty much sounds like a plastic skaterboard. Sounds more of like a piece of shit. I blow dried my wheels and they aren't rusty or anything and I also blow dried my deck, is there anything else to do except just leave it there and let it dry. I don't want my deck to lose pop.

Meh if it got just a little bit of water it might have been fine, but if it got socked I don't know man you might be in trouble, can ruin the wood and even loosen the adhesive that holds together the plys.

It's like 2 months. I can't really get a new deck right away cause my parents have some financial problems, and I don't wanna waste his money, ya know?

Your birthday is just 6 days after mine :D

I don't think there's much you can do for it though, give it some time and see how it is then.

I just dipped all my bearings in vegetable oil for a couple hours and now it spins fine..
Haven't tried riding them though, it's been raining for 2 days =[

whats that shit do?

oh, and i left a toy machine deck in the back of a pick-up truck all night while it rained on it. all i did was put it in front of a fan for an hour and got new grip and it was like new. just from now on, dont use heat to dry it cuz it has a chance of warping with heat like that.

I didn't really use a lot of heat. Just to dry the grip off. Vegetable oil just acts like a lubricant I guess.
You use it for food..........................

Okay, that sentence didn't make sense at all "You use it it food".
Yeah, it works good.
