its an electronic style of music mostly made in the UK and Europe.

there are alot of different styles of Drum n' B**** some of it is awesome, some of it is shit.

for example, Roni Size, GMS, Eat Static, Banco Da Giai, etc... all AMAZING artists who make that style of music

but then if you look at cd's such as the "Bonkers" cd's.... they're full of REALLY bad house/hardcore music...

thats all i can be bothered to say.

well i have been looking alot for some good d'n'b bands to donwload and i can only find a few. So some one help me out, its kind of hard to describe what i like, becasue all the bands i like are very unknown.

So suggest some good ones. Im looking for something with frantic drum machines, and i don't want ambeint, ive found alot of ambient stuff. I want fast paced drum machines.

Most of these are more techno and trance than they are Drum n' B**** but...

Roni Size (fucking awesome)
Infected Mushroom
Banco De Giai
The Properllerheads
Bad Company
Underworld (more ambient trance, probably alot softer than you're after)
Dreadzone (probably slower and dub than you're after)

Out of that list, the only one that's true Dn'B is Roni Size, i'd recommend the album "Touching Down" over the others, its less vocal based.
And i'd stear clear of In The Mode, too much female vocal, terrible.

This's one genre the UK owns IMO.

Having read that you've already got alot of ambient stuff, i'd really just suggest Roni Size, Infected Mushroom, and GMS, all very hard and fast.

If you want unrelentingly fast pounding DnB, Pendulums my favourite. Get the album "Hold Your Colour". It can be hard to track down though.

Does Aphex Twin count? Try breakbeat, naks acid, and ziggomatic V17.

I don't listen to alot of Drum n Bass but i love Hardcore. Evil Activites, Rotterdam Terror Corps, Scott Brown, Neophyte, The Viper all of them rock. Its like extreme trance. Its brilliant

aphex twin
ak1200 (something like that)

there are a few more, I just forget now becaues I haven't listened to drum 'n bass in sooo long.

Yeah, my cousins uncle straps contact microphones to a wire fence and records the wire-wobbling sounds for hours on end... he calls it fence music.

if he digs it, then cool. Music is self expression.
