When a person stands up and says "I'm going to blow up the plane!" The air marshall is supposed to take him out. What the hell else do these news reports expect the man to do, let him go or wait to see if he really has a bomb? You know... If you wait to see if it's real, you're going to get blown to bits. The man was doing his job. I don't see what the big deal is.

Honestly, I hate just about everything the government stands for but if you stand up in a plane and say you have a bomb don't be surprised when your dumb ass gets shot.

you stop the guy and handcuff him. you risk misfire and hitting someone else.
you could hit the bomb and blow everyone aroumd to kingdom come. you miss and blows himself up anyway.

what option do you think is best? and besides when theres a woman nest to him trying to catch him wouldnt you think twice? and when did we decide to shot first and ask questions later? That pig was a fucking dumbass and eserves a brutal death

Please have this be sarcasm, He is payed to stop/ use deadly force for someone who is threating they plane or a person on the plane ETC. He is trained and knows what to do, I am sure when he heard the guy yell I got a bomb he didnt even notice or care who is trying to stop him, any way she could be a part of a terrorist plot hopeing to have the air marshall think twice and have everyone get destroyed he did his job and doesnt deserve to be shot, if anyone thought twice in a situation like that he could blow the bomb He is trained to shoot and not have any civilian hit. If the person had a bomb and saw him coming he could detinate it, the air marshall did his job

The fact that guy associated the word "BOMB" in or around that airplane, he deserved it...they should have shot him more just to be sure...If he WAS a terrorists, this whole thing would be totally different (the media would be Praise the Marshalls

What would you have done if you were the air marshall? they identified themselves as air marshalls, he continued to disobey them, they shot him. simple as, end of. And since when do we shoot first and ask questions later? Ever since the government told them so. Ever since 9/11 they have been told to shoot to kill. Not to shoot extremities, shoot-to-kill. Chances are they wouldn't miss, they're trained, and if the bomb was in the bag, and he was standing up, how do you "accidentally" shoot that bag?

The media complains about anything that happens. The Marshall was probably ten feet away from the "bomber" how do you miss at ten feet? The air marshall did his job and the idiot (wether he was mentaly ill or not) should have known better than to threaten to blow up a plain. I mean does he think he's gonna be famous or something? or get a escort to first class seating? No he's gonna get shot. Anybody and everbody knows that much.
