I dont like habitats that much, the pop sucks and it feels wrong when you do flip tricks because of the short tail and huge nose.
habitat decks are awesome . its not so famous company ,but buy it ,and try it !

i had a habitat, it was the janoski model....honestly...i fuckin hated that piece of shit. i think it had the most odd shape and literaly i couldnt do any of my normal tricks on it, i traded it to a friend for an expedition one, which was much better, but still not my cup of tea. i dont know what it is, everyone here loves ex. one and habitat(mostly) but ive only had bad experiances with them...damn i suck

Dude. A deck can't make a difference on the tricks that you can do. Honestly, that's the excuse that faggots use to explain why they can't do certain tricks. The shape of the deck can make it a little harder to do the tricks, or force you to set them up differently, or make the tricks look different because of the concave and pop, but unless it's absolute shit, or a fucking 2X4, it won't affect the tricks you can do.
And Habitats are great to learn tricks on, and they're tanks, with massive pop. Different people have different experiences with certain decks, but I, and most people I know, have had overwhelmingly positive experiences with Habitats.

I love Habitat's concaves. But I see what you mean. Still, you should have waited a bit longer before giving up on it, you would have gotten used to it eventually. And like I said, a deck shouldn't effect the tricks that you can and can't do.

Habitats are fucking amazing, one of the nicest feeling boards I've ridden.
Some people might not like them, but by no means are they bad decks.

I had a Janoski as well. it was a hemp ply. it snapped after about 4 weeks with an ollie manny to drop off a shoulder high ledge. I weigh 55kg and have never snapped a board before in my life, so dont start with that blabber talk. the pop and concave seemed aiight though, and I love the goddamn graphics. not that it matters, but they're very artsy, and I love that.
after 4 weeks though, it had mad stress cracks and a chip from a little smash into a wall. I guess try it for yourself since everyone has their own opinions. I saw Stefan Janoski fronts flipping 11 (well trying to) and his didnt snap. maybe it was just a chat board I got.
