Almost, if you have the money.

Almost boards are great when they're new. If you skate hard and are the type of skater that buys a new deck every 2 to 4 weeks, it really doesnt matter, as long as you STICK to a certain shape (width and length) and concave. That way the feel of your board isnt changing constantly.

Pick a board, and skate it always. I've gone with almost because i love their monster mold concave.

The quality of almost's wood sucks though. It breaks so badly when it starts to wear out. I snapped an almost doing a freaking 5-0 !

I've seen almosts delaminate down layers of the ply when they snapped.

I think Habitat makes a far better board... But i skate almost because of teh monster mold and how it feels. Hab's noses are too high. Hab's are made by California Skate Factory and they make great boards, but i dont like the feel of the nose concave. It's too steep for me.

So i skate Almost until i find something similar that feels like the monster mold shape.

So find a board that you like, and skate it. Stick with that shape. Dont mix and match. Dont skate a 7.5 one month and then an 8inch wide board the next. Especially if the concave is different between boards.

It just screws your skating up.

Stick with a shape, size, etc.
