Are fiberlams worth buying? I was thinking about trying one from Toy Machine or Foundation and i just wanted a quick opinion on how long they lasted and anything else they have...

NO NO NO NO. I dont care wtf anybody says about them but they suck. they are flat as hell and feel so weird and isnt nearly as durable as people make them seem.

I grabbed one a few months ago.

theer peretty good.

the shape is confusing as fuck though haha.

even, completely even on both sides.

But its good.

You could boardslide for years.

But the slide wouldent go away.

The pop is excellent at first.

But in about a month the decks start to get really flexible.

I like them.

and If like them, you should like them.

I fucking love toy machine.

pain.

its some weird fiberglass thing weaved together, then they put a layer or two of that in to replace some ply's and supposedly it's stronger. i don't really fall for any of these "advanced deck constructions" though. as much as i love toy machine, i feel like a fiberlam toy would be the same as any other toy... i would have invested in one, but i don't think they make them in 8.25, and i fucking adore these past 3 zero bold 8.25s, so why change?

i could never figure out what fiberlam was.

a thin tight compact strong layer of fiber strings compressed as the 2nd layer up in the decks 7 plys, increasing strength pop and slideability.

All together I fucking love it.

I've had two normal Toy Machines and one Foundation Fiberlam.
The normal Toy Machines were great, easily one of my favorite boards.
The Foundation was terrible. Strange flexible shape, and it broke in 2 weeks down a four stair.
