Damp tooth brush always works for me.

Dont get grip gum, it just smears the dirt.

Listen up this is what you can do.
Get some windex, spray it all over the dirty spots.
Let it soak for like 5 mins. Then scrub it with a toothbrush until you feel its done. Then let another towel soak it up and repeat that process like 2 or 3 times. Guarrunteed to make it grippier and shinier.
(i learned it from late flip)

GET A WINDOW CLEANER.
SPRAY IT ALL OVER YOUR GRIP.
LET IT SOAK IN FOR 5 MINUTES.
GET A TOOTHBRUSH.
SCRUB THE DIRT AND ANYTHING ELSE OFF.
WHEN ITS CLEANED TO YOUR LIKING DRY THE GRIP OFF WITH A TOWEL.

Grip gum is a waste of money because it is just a very small stick and it cost a lot. You can get the exact same thing(or even better)at home depot or lowe's or something. Woodworkers use this stuff to clean sandpaper on belt sanders and stuff. You can get a like foot long stick of the same stuff for a lot cheaper this way. plus these actually work and they don't smear the crap around!
