Its not hard, it just takes a couple days to get used to, then you're fine.

it will take you a day or so of skating to get used to it but it wont be that bad

i did a couple days ago. i rode 7.75's and 7.6's for a year. its not hard at all just gives you more to land on

Depends what you're good at usin. I switched from a 8.5 to a 8 and my tricks improved. Though my 8.5 was a crappy no name board (better than walmart though) and was way too wide for me.

I did it today and it felt soo much better (7.75" girl to 8" chocolate so the same deck kinda so it couldn't depend on the deck itself).
