My first real skateboard.....

I'm about to buy my first real skateboard (not one of those crappy ones from Dick's) and I was wondering if the choice I made was good. It's a Girl Deck 7 3/4, spitfire wheels, venture trucks, and I forgot the bearings (I'll have to call). I haven't bought it yet and this is what the guy working there recommended.

Wheels: I personally dont like spitfire, but if its your first board it should be perfectly fine.
Trucks: Vintage? You mean Venture? If so good.

people will say change the wheels to bones stfs although i have never had a problem with spitfire i do like my stfs more and for bearings just get bones reds and i say destructo trucks

Indy's aren't that great buddy. the bushings suck and they turn bad. I'd prefer venture of indies anyday

well i dont have indies never had im just going by what everyone says everyone makes em out to be such good trucks but im much prefer my destructos over ventures i didnt like my friends

dude, i'd definatly skip the spitfire, just take the safe route and get som supercrystals or stf's. everything else is ok

I like the girl deck. I personally wouldn't get the ventures. I would get indy's or krux with some autobahns. Just remember when starting your going to get mad and fall a lot.
