My old board broke, was burned in the fireplace in it's honor.

Making a new board. Saving new independent trucks and bolts etc.

Buying new deck, grip, bearings, wheels.

LUCKY ABEC 3
13.99
Non Friction 54MM Black
19.96 Yes 19.96
Independent Shock Pads
3.95 Yes 3.95
Superlight Decks
1.: 7.75 Black Superlight
2.: 7.75 Grey Superlight
3.: Jessup Grip
4.: Yes, apply grip 34.94

Subtotal for Blank Skate Supply: 72.84

Anyone think this is a good deal? Feedback would be appreciated. As 70 bucks better be 70 bucks well spent.

Also wanted to know if 7.75 equals the width of the board in inches. Please let me know. Buying from online store called BlankSkateSupply.

Yeah, that looks good man. I'd go for that for sure. 7.75 is the width of the board in inches, by the way.

Ok, so I am sorry for bumping an old thread.

Should I buy Bones Swiss Labyrinth bearings instead of luckys? Someone told me that BSLs were better.

If you can, yes. Bones doesn't have labyrinth bearings, but they'll still probably be better.

I know I'll sound like a noob but what are risers? And just to clear things up. What lube do you use on your bearings? I heard wd-40 ruins bearings but other people say they don't.

Help?

for the riser question, risers are plastic things that go between the truck and the deck usually about 1/8 in height used to prevent wheelbite
